How to record pruning weights, cane counts and dead/missing vines for the Vine Health Indicator

When pruning in winter, open your Sectormentor phone app and select the sample site (either by scanning the tag, or finding the sample on the map, or in the samples list). You can then add the cane number at pruning, or pruning weight per vine using the app. This information is used in the Vine Health Indicator in the 'Reports' section of your Sectormentor web app, which will automatically calculate a crop load (from your yield info and pruning weights), and your vine's vigour, which can be compared across blocks.

You can also record any dead or missing vines by selecting the relevant block in your Sectormentor web app, and entering a value for the number of dead or missing vines in that block. This information is also monitored in the Vine Health Indicator tool. (You can learn more about the tool here).

N.B. Remember to 'sync' your phone at the end of each monitoring session to ensure the information on your web app is up to date!
