How to add your soil texture, landuse & rainfall for the Regen Platform.

You can choose to add these details to your account on your Soilmentor phone app, or on your web app. 

On the Soilmentor phone app:

First, set the soil texture of each soil sample. 
  1. From the home page, go to 'Soil Samples', and click on the soil sample you want to add a soil texture to. 
  2. Click the 'details' tab on the top of the screen. 
  3. Click on 'Soil texture', and 'select option' - either heavy, medium or light - using this page as a guide.
Next, set the landuse and rainfall of each of your fields, or sites.
  1. From the home page, go to 'Fields & Biodiversity' or 'Sites', and click on the relevant field / site. 
  2. Go to the 'details' tab. 
  3. Select the appropriate landuse (cropping or grassland), and rainfall (low, medium or high) using this page as a guide for your biome. 

On the Soilmentor web app:

First, set the soil texture of each soil sample. 
  1. Log into your account here - you can do so from any computer / tablet. 
  2. Go to 'Soil Samples', and click 'edit' next to  the soil sample you want to add a soil texture to.  
  3. Select the relevant soil texture from the dropdown list, using this page as a guide. 
  4. Click Save! 
Next, set the landuse and rainfall of each of your fields, or sites.
  1. Go to 'Fields' from the navigation bar, and click 'edit' next to the field you want to add classifiers for. 
  2. Select the relevant landuse (cropping or grassland), and rainfall (low, medium or high) using this page as a guide for your biome. 
  3. Click Save! 
All set! You can now benchmark your results on the Regen Platform
