How to add the location of a tag as you write it

If you’re writing a new tag, and you want to immediately add its GPS location, you can choose the sample you want to write from the ‘Samples’ list in the app, and then click the three dots in the top right hand corner.

You will then be able to ‘Write tag’ by scanning the tag you’ve placed in the field, and then ‘Add location’ by adding a pin on your map in the correct location.

(N.B. You may need to wait up to 30 seconds for your phone to recognise the correct location - you can also manually move the map until the pin is in the correct place.)
